Denmark Student Visa Application Made Easy : Your Step-by-Step Roadmap!

Things you’ll know from this newsletter :

– Required Documents

– Application Process

Steps to make your Denmark Visa Application journey easier and smooth :

1. Secure the final offer letter : The offer letter from the University must be confirmed as the application wouldn’t be possible with a conditional offer letter. To secure your offer letter you’d have to pay the tuition fees. You can pay it through your credit card 💳 or you can pay it by opening a student file in any bank and deposit the money according to their bank information. Make sure to have the receipt of tuition fees payment. Once the University would receive the payment, they will provide you a final offer letter.

2. Collecting the ST1 Application Form :

    – the University will fill a part of the form and will provide you with an User ID and password through which you will be able to login to the portal.

    – through the provided User ID and password you can fill up the ST1 application form and submit it.

3. Booking an appointment with the VFS : from the sources I’ve gathered these informations, I’ve seen that everyone is giving more attention in this point as it takes 1 to 2 months to get an appointment from the VFS. You can book it easily through their website with your name, passport number details.

4. Creating a Case Order ID :

-first you’d have to visit this website 🖇️ nyidenmark.dk and click on the “you want to apply” button and follow the instructions as labelled according to your intended level of study. You will find all the accurate informations in this website, regarding your visa application for Denmark. So you can say it is a go-to place for you whenever you’re stuck in any point of your application!

    – there’s a “How to Apply” portion where you’ll find the option “Create a Case Order ID.” You’d have to fill out the informations and pay the mentioned application fee (DKK 2115) through credit card 💳

5. Paying Embassy Fee : the embassy fee mentioned in the sources isn’t clear (some mentioned it’s DKK 1680 some mentioned it’s 1690)

Better if you go to the VFS Bangladesh website and see the current embassy fee you’d have to pay.

6. Gathering required documents : you’d need basic documents if you’re applying as a single student but if you’re applying with your spouse or family, other documents would be needed too.

Required documents for a single student below :

   – Receipts for case order id and embassy fee payment

   – passport

   – offer letter from university

   – tuition fees payment receipt

   – IELTS score

   – Job experience letter

   – European standard CV

   – Extra curricular activities related documents/certificates

   – SOP

   – Sworn Declaration (you’ll get it after submitting ST1 application form)

Required documents if you’re applying with your spouse :

   – your marriage certificate and academic certificates must be attested by the Ministry of Law and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Required documents for the spouse :

   – Case Order ID document

   – embassy fee payment receipt

   – passport

   – main copy of bank statement

   – attested marriage certificate

   – attested birth certificate

   – Sworn Declaration

   – academic and professional all other certificates

7. Submitting the Application : organise all the mentioned documents, collect the Sworn Declaration and submit it in VFS. The VFS fee would be mentioned in the website.

After submitting the application in VFS you’ll get a call for an interview from the embassy (only the student will get the call for interview, not the spouse or family)

Don’t be freaked out about the interview as the questions would be like :

  – why did you chose this university?

  – how would this course help you to achieve your goals?

Just be confident and answer the questions calmly.

If they’re satisfied with your answers, they’ll take your passport and you’d get to know if your application is approved through VFS.

Hope this helps you to navigate the process with ease! Best of luck!🤞🏼
